A 17-year-old youth has been charged with second degree murder in relation to a death on the Pikangikum First Nation.
The OPP’s Criminal Investigations Branch began looking into a suspicious death on March 27th.
The youth, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, remains in custody, and will appear in Kenora Court on April 10th.
The OPP says the community provided information that assisted in the arrest.
Provincial Police say they are continuing the investigation.
