The City of Kenora is going with a local company to do line painting on municipal streets this year.

This after Northwest Lines was unable to complete all the line painting on roads last year due to labour shortages.

Council awarded the contract this year to Rite-Way Decorators.

Their tender came in a $395,500.

Rite-Way has done line painting in the past, but Northwest Lines outbid them for the job over the last several years.
